It’s been four weeks since the last Tiers, and 1/3 of you haven’t moved from the tier you last found yourself in. That may not sound significant, but when there are 9 tiers, you’d expect just about everyone to shift just a bit. Sure, the tier names changed a bit, so it might feel a little different even if you’re in the same tier, but that’s really just a ruse to get you to keep reading these when I put them out.
A few key takeaways:
The best teams in the league 4 weeks ago are, for the most part, still the best teams in the league today.
The worst teams in the league 4 weeks ago are unchanged - which must be especially frustrating when everyone is trying (it is clear nobody has rage quit the season yet and stopped setting lineups).
Mettle Division is tight. Being the middle league and having 6 teams changing every year (3 promoted, 3 relegated) makes for a consistently competitive group. You’ll notice there is nobody in the top or bottom of this edition of the Tiers from Mettle. This might be the most competitive middle tier ever. I expect the next edition will reflect even more shuffling down the stretch of the season.
Biggest movers since week 4:
Nathan (Cluteusmaximus) +5 tiers
Alejandro (CubanMissile) +4 tiers
R.D. (PreScott’s Tots), Julio (ElDonJulio), Jordan B. (Smack That) +3 Tiers
Tim (Pacificwbd) -4 tiers
Zach (Maye Day), Ian (svendingmachine), Jayson (xZaytovenx), Lucas (DJKhaled’s4thAlbum2ndSong) -3 tiers
And finally, a note to our brothers fighting the good fight:
Josh (Diabetes Daddy) - 3rd highest point total across all 36 teams in all three leagues, currently 3-5
Alex D. (Skattebonerr) - 5th highest point total across all 36 teams in all three leagues, currently 4-4
Joe (JosephAcosta) - crawling back from an 0-4 start to be 3-5
Ryan (ryantidwell) - competitive roster, currently 1-7
Keuris (Prime Time) - setting lineups and making moves, currently 1-7
In my best estimation, this is where you fall today:
