League Inception and an Absurdly Detailed History

I was in middle school when I had my first dreams of trying out fantasy football. My friends hadn’t caught the fever yet, and my older sister’s friends assumed I was too young to be playing. So, I started my own league.

16 years later, the Elite Fantasy League has built a rich history, long-standing members, and a fraternity.

Has the seriousness of this league gone too far? Yes.

Do I question whether my own sports nerditity will be my undoing? Yes.

Will I still create power rankings for my league every couple of weeks this year? Yes.

No holds barred; I can’t be stopped.

I felt a responsibility to quantify the league’s rich history for the league’s members - both present and past. Ten to fifteen hours later, the tapestry was complete.
